Longobardi Lemon Liquer (Limoncello)
Label designs for a small, boutique liquer
producer out of Las Vegas, Nevada, who specializes in organically-farmed
Meyer lemons. Serving the finer restaurants and hotels in
Vegas, the Longobardi's are also importers of hand-crafted,
global wines and specialty gourmet foods. The label on the
far right was chosen for 2004, 2005 & 2006.
What is Limoncello?
Limoncello is a refreshing lemon liquer hailing
from Sorrento, Italy, and the Almafi Coast. Almost unknown
here until recently, limoncello offers a refreshing blend
of tart and sweet flavors with the punch of high alcohol.
Its infused color, extracted from the peels, captures the
joyful yellow of a sunny day. Traditionally enjoyed as a
digestif (after-dinner drink), limoncello is becoming more
popular in America. Best served from the freezer, in a frozen
glass or dizzled over vanilla ice cream! Sante!
